"If they detect us, they have to blow themselves up to get us. If they try to take us out any other way we can have Marines standing by. Anyway, what better way to investigate them than to be there with them? Screw cyberspace." Jack really liked Ferguson's mind. It was devious like his own.

Jill was not impressed, "Well, you didn't get anywhere with your cop on the street stuff. These guys showed up on the Internet!"

Jack looked over at the Major, "Erisa is probably there."

"OK, I'm fine with it." Responded Jill. She realized that it was probably good enough that this was somehow closer to Erisa, and she knew how much this meant to Jack by now.

During the first days in Sante Fe, the Center staff organized the various security arrangements. A small satellite dish, hidden from the street, was the only sign of high speed communications or security on the building, and even this disk could have been mistaken for a TV dish. Personal living arrangements had to be approved. Of the forty people in Houston, all but three moved. Wives, husbands, and children would move over time. The three staff people that stayed did not know where the others were going. Neither did the families, until they boarded the planes or had already started to drive there.
