Within a week the FBI Cyberspace Research Center disappeared as did all forty employees. The local newspapers announced only that the center had moved away: no new location was named.

It was interesting that this was the first indication that Dr. O'Leary had of the existence of a Cyberspace Research Center. He emailed Dave Johnston to ask Erisa and his 'Jack' whether they knew about it. The response was expected; they didn't.

Realizing more strongly that this could be the source of his problem, Dr. O'Leary sent in a man. But the FBI had left the Center completely. There was not a trace, and not even the secretaries in nearby offices knew where the other secretaries had moved to. Not wanting to expose his position, Dr. O'Leary called off further inquiry and brought his man back.

In Sante Fe, in the Old Town adjacent to the river, a United Van Lines pulled up to a three story stucco building. Major Henderson, John Ferguson, Jill and Jack had arrived three days before. The decision to move the FBI Cyberspace Research Center was John Ferguson's. "We go to Sante Fe."

"What?" Major Henderson was taken aback.
