"Yes. We might force contact if we can neutralize the killer satellite that is attached. Our bomb is still operational." George moved close to her. She was so beautiful, he wanted to be near her.

She adjusted her hand hold to move slightly away from George. Normal human motions had to be completely redefined for space. Russian and American non-verbal responses were different but weightless responses were alien to everybody. George started to probe at bit, "You know, the head of a colony is like the Captain of a Ship. He can marry people. I think the next few months are going to be interesting in many ways." He couldn't resist.

"Yes, George." In true Russian style, she put her hand on his chest and pushed him off. Although she was acting like this was fun, she was not happy about it.

George got serious, "We're going to have a meeting after dinner. Try to think about what we can do about the killer satellite. We need proposals. Nothing seems obvious." George pushed away, forward, toward the rest of the colony.

"See you then," she said.

George went forward to talk with Andrei. Andrei and Jane had been working on analysing the combined American and Russian supply situation for optimization. The group had realized immediately that if there were such opportunities, they would have their greatest impact if seized immediately. A technique that could double the time available with air would add a day for every day saved in discovering it. They were in the old Metafire Two capsule, getting data from some of the local air and water recycling units. George asked "How's it going Jane?"
