"Fine. I will establish a contact again in two hours. You should have time, then, to review your position on our requests."

"Make that tomorrow morning, George."

"What about our communications?"

"Tomorrow morning, George. Consider that we are giving your people a holiday."

After the disconnect, George told Platon, "Get together with Andrei and check the condition of the bomb. The one we can explode."

"Yes. I understand." And Platon pushed himself toward the capsule that held the bombs.

Randy had seen a lot of this and was becoming concerned about the activities of the Metafire people. He had been, basically, bored. He had trained in the virtual reality system for tug operations, but he didn't particularly want to know any of these people. He certainly didn't want to be friendly. So, he stayed to himself finding as much interest as he could in learning about space operations. The work by Sporkin, Andrei, and Platon on the bombs kept his attention. He had become highly suspicious.
