"This is John Smith with the FBI. Can you answer some questions?"

"Maybe. Go ahead." Wendy didn't want to hear this phone call.

"Yes. Do you know anybody in customer support at a company called Metafire?"

"Yes."

"Do you know their name or anything else about them?"

"Yes. I know a girl who calls herself Erisa."

"Thank you. That is all we have to ask." Ferguson hung up and looked over at the Major. "She's there. Unless there's another Erisa that's been kidnapped by Metafire, this is our girl!" Ferguson then opened a teleconference line to Jill. "Jill, we're confident now that Erisa is on board the Metafire colony. A person on the outside has communicated with her. Do you want to tell Jack?"

"I would love to. Do you have any instructions?"

"Yes, tell him not to do anything, yet. We would like to hear any suggestions he might have, but he is to do nothing without orders."
