"We are believers in Oppenheimer," This was the first sentence from Stan. "We will die in order to save the Earth from certain destruction. The Military-Industrial complex. Your land and my land as well. These people will destroy us, our wives, our children, our families, our friends. They will destroy all human kind. There is no avoiding it.

"We must fight fire with fire. We must create wholly believable nuclear threats. We must demonstrate that there are people that will kill millions. Only in this way, can we hope that the Military-Industrial complex will remain aware. Only this way, can we hope they will have enough fear. The cold war is over. We must create the fear.

"We must be willing to be discovered and to die in order to protect mankind."

Andrei had read this and had passed it on to the Buraks. Platon did not sleep for two days, but then he came back with an answer. Andrei respected Platon. He knew Platon's brilliance. His answer was, "For the sake of the world, we have many bombs. We must know these will be used for threats. Only the American's have the capability of moving the bombs about and placing them in strategic locations. We're too controlled. We cannot move freely across international boundaries. We must work with the Americans."
