"OK, guys," Ferguson was taking control, "we'll keep a copy of the disk here and we'll arrange to send off a second copy to the National Security Agency. They should be able to figure this thing out. Our people will help you pack up. We want to thank you."

"You will need DEC Alphas to run these disks." The older engineer spoke up smiling with a salesman's smile. "The one here is Paul's."

"OK. We'll buy some machines. Now I have to thank you. Have'to get busy on our end of this. Our people'll escort you back to Massachusetts. You'll have to endure some agents around you for awhile. It's your protection." Ferguson personally took care of all the details. He contacted Major Henderson, now back in Washington DC, and the Major took care of lining up the National Security Agency. When Ferguson got back to Sante Fe the next day, he brought another copy of the disk, along with a Marine, with him. Jack and Jill could plug away at this disk for awhile to see if they could develop a strategy for opening it up.
