Beth explained, "We believe we will have to stay in this capsule, squeezed together like this for perhaps a week or two. Then we'll be squeezed in a larger colony of capsules but without much more space for each person. The difference is that there will be a few more rooms. Arrangements are being made for us to own our own tug and a supply tender. That should give people a way to get away. Also, the company has purchased an additional capsule that will form a much larger pressure vessel. It expands, I am told, to thirty feet by one hundred and twenty feet. That's going to be a common living area. It's like an inflatable blimp, really. In fact, there's a story going around that Goodyear makes it, but we know it was designed by Dupont in a joint program with 3M. All this is going to take about two months. That's how long we have to endure this close company. So, let's make the best of it."

Then Jane spoke up. "It's really not that bad, I think. We are all up here to work. Metafire has a software product line. Erisa, Jack, ..it has to do with recovering lost information on the net. We have customers all over the globe and a lot of work just keeping the customers happy and soliciting new customers. I told the others that I would like to talk to you about what it is that you like to do. Erisa, I know that you were in retail logistics support for the NSP. Our work is like that. We support people that want to find stuff that disappeared from where it was expected to be."
