George replied, "I don't think they will." George was tough but had a certain delicate look about him. George was the operations chief that Erisa had dealt with.

Back in Houston, Jack had spent the day with the FBI interrogaters. Very carefully they covered Jack's memory for every minute's time over the weekend and Monday. It was during this that Jack let them know that he had surfed the net a bit and had logged into the Metafire museum. Later, during the afternoon, Ferguson came into Jack's office.
