"Yes. I stay as long as necessary. The office would help a lot. I want small meetings, no more that three people, with resumes and project plans."

"We can arrange that for the military liaison. But," and he laughed a bit, "I hope there is only one of you!"

"We only want to help. If I cause problems, please don't hesitate to let me know. We are, after all, after the same goal. The coordination between legal, military, and governmental agencies inside the United States is easy compared to the coordination internationally. I think we'll find the terrorists through a combination of events, events that would go unnoticed if the coordination were lacking."

"Yes, Yes."

The Major realized this guy was about as interested as a gopher was in a Corvette. Somehow he was in a different life space.

"Sir, we thought you might be interested in our Internet Exploration Crew," said the Director's assistant. "I can take you down the hall to your office. They will be there in about fifteen minutes."
