Jill paraphrased from the messages coming back to her screen, "Our people were counting on them not finding the device. It can be readily disabled."
He held his anger at not being informed, since at least somebody was informed. "Yes, but what's the advice?"
"They say to go ahead. The killer satellite is a better mechanism. It can't be touched once it attaches. It has to receive desist codes every ten hours or it blows up. The desist codes change all the time. There is nothing Metafire can do about it."
"Are we sure?"
Jill typed away for another moment. Then looked up and said, "Yes."
John clicked George back on. "OK, George. It's a deal." He read the screen that Erisa was now pointed at, "We are having the drawings sent up to you in CALS format. My people say you can detach the gas remote."
"Is that the only booby-trap?"
"Of course. You don't know about another one do you?" John decided to make him mad.
