"No. We should call in the others." Marie now moved out into the hallway and out to the tug to inform Andrei and Michael. She passed Isolova and told her as well. Soon, all the Ukrainians were looking at the device. Andrei immediately issued orders, "Get George and Sporkin in here. The box appears to have no holes. There is probably no microphone on it. Look around for bugs. Isolova, Marie, Platon, continue to check out the facility. There may be other boxes. Michael go back to the tug, but look about for any other anomalies.

When George and Sporkin got in, they continued visual inspections of the box. "The best I can tell" said George, "its a device that might inject something or take something out of the air. You are sure this is not a part of the carbon dioxide scrubbers, or air purifiers?"

Andrei said, "I am sure. We know the systems and checked them all before loading supplies." Then he paused, "Look, here, this looks like sloppy American work!" The aluminum was ridged slightly on a crease. "Our people would not have been so sloppy!"

"Right...Andrei." Sporkin lifted his dark eyebrows and smiled. Andrei had beaten him to the punch on that one. But even Sporkin did not know quite what to do. Everyone realized that simply attempting to disconnect or otherwise touch this thing might make it go off. It could be a simple device or a complex one that did many different things. Sporkin was the first to realize the proper action, "We should do nothing about this right now. We should only be perfectly sure there are no other surprises."
