"I'll tell you what. Release me, and I won't attempt to do any harm. This is pretty uncomfortable."

Then Janet pulled herself to have a sight on Randy. "Jack, Jack, could you come over here?"

Randy looked and pulled himself over. "Yes?"

"Jack, tell Steven here why you aren't fighting us."

"We'll, actually, Janet, I would arrest you if I could. Ya'll would overpower me pretty quickly if I started something. About the only option I have is to destroy us all. "

Janet thought for a moment, but realized that even this statement played into her point. She looked at Steven and said, "See. We can let you free. Even the two of you would have limited ability. We are in space."

Steven then said, "If you let me go, I won't try anything." He was lying, but he figured that it didn't matter.

Frank and George decided that Steven could be freed up while at least five of the Metafire guys were awake. Frank explained to Steven, "We have radioactive material aboard. We need you to map the capsules for radioactivity levels. Can you do this for us? Here's a geiger counter." Frank held out a small unit with an LCD display on it, about the size of a cigarette pack. "All you have to do is get a reading for every cubic yard, or so, of the capsules. Let us know where you see readings go up. If it goes up a lot, let us know immediately."
