Erisa's stomach started to hurt. Everybody waited.

"Mayor?" said Congressman Blackburn.

"OK, why not?" He stood, walked slowly up, and took the helmet. He looked for a moment. It had two 'eyes' on a front piece. "Cameras" he thought. He put it on and there was the floor, like a glass sheet below him. The table and stuff on the floor stood out like stereo video. He looked out a bit and saw where the glass sheet merged into regular old opaque floor and wall, and, "wow," people. "Yep, cameras," he thought.

Underneath he saw the layers of flooring, some conduit, the lighting fixtures on the room underneath. He said out loud, "Nice colors, can I walk around?"

"Sure." Congressman Blackburn was in control now. He was going to make his point to everybody here about who got General Electric to pick Boston.

The Mayor walked around. He took off the helmet and gave it to Joe. Smiling broadly, he looked around and said, "I think you have a sale here, Joe."

Erisa figured out her plan, right that second. She would tell her boss that the Subterranean TV didn't work. "It couldn't work, really," she thought. It was 11:30 anyway, she had to get the information prepared for the road crew at Circle Park Shopping Center.
