Everybody was listening.

"We have developed these tools for the military. They were developed in a unique liaison with General Electric and Hughes Electronics after Desert Storm. The idea was to find mines or anything that was buried underground. As you know, the Government is paying to have us come out with commercial product from military R&D. This was a natural. What you see here can give you a picture of everything underground, like it was a video tape camera panning this room."

He continued, "Now, I don't know as much as our able salesman and technical support guy here, Joe Piles. He's the guy with the presentation." Joe Kolanoff smiled and went to a chair beside the Commissioner.

"Oh yea." There was that word again, she thought. "If you have any questions at any time, don't wait to ask."

Joe Piles stood up and Randy went to the keyboard of the laptop. The General Electric logo came up with the words "Subterranean TV."

"We call this 'Subterranean TV.' You have all heard of virtual reality. Well, if you put on this helmet you can see through the ground like looking through absolutely clear jello with all the objects in clear view. You will find this unbelievable, but you can see down six meters, about twenty feet, in 3D." The display started panning on a world of colored shapes underneath a glass clear surface. The shapes were pipes.
